We have designed this workshop to build on our previous workshops in May & October 2016
AND to stand alone as a missional workshop focusing on hearing God and sharing with others.
Do you hunger for God’s Kingdom to breakthrough in your city?
Do you want to learn to speak God’s words of comfort, strengthening, and encouragment to others?
Do you wish the Lord would move supernaturally today, as in the Bible?
Is it a struggle to integrate family, work, & discipleship?
Come lean into the Lord and learn from missional leaders who’ve gone before you at the 3DM Naturally Supernatural Missional Workshop #3, February 25 in Concord CA. (8:30 AM Saturday).
- $35 per person (early bird EventBrite registration); $40 after February 17
- Saturday lunch included
The workshop will be led by the 3DM Northwest Regional Team which works with dozens of churches in the Pacific Northwest to help them develop a culture of missional discipleship. Disciples of Jesus are called to imitate Him so the naturally supernatural workshop is simply part of the journey towards the goal of growing in the character and competency of Jesus.
They will lead a biblical exploration of the Kingdom of God and prophecy – hearing God in an authentic way that blesses people with encouragement, comfort, and strength. (1 Corinthians 14:3) The biblical teaching and training will help everyone who attends go on mission in the name of Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and under the authority of Scripture. Whether you’re a pastor, MC leader, prayer warrior, missional single, or anyone wanting to grow in any of the above, save the dates – February 3-4. You’ll leave blessed and encouraged, trained and equipped to go on mission in the power of God, perhaps as never before. Join other missional followers of Jesus from the greater San Francisco Bay Area and beyond as we explore how to live like Jesus and join His Kingdom work… Come learn how to be Naturally Supernatural.
All Day (Saturday)
New Life Christian Fellowship
3525 Chestnut Ave, Concord, CA 94519
Explore the dynamics of making disciples of Jesus who can join God in his mission. Discover the principles of going from having a ministry to leading a movement: reproducing disciples instead [...]
- Teaching that will help frame discipleship and mission in a new light
- Training with your team to help you apply principles contextually
- Effective vehicles for discipleship and mission, such as Huddles and Missional Communities
- What it’s like to be part of a 3DM Learning Community (two-year journey of culture change)
What will the workshop be like?
You will have a chance to hear teachings about discipleship and mission and how we are practically seeing those things worked out in local church contexts. You’ll get to experience Huddles and Missional Communities (rather than simply hear the theory). There will be large amounts of Q&A, consultations for your team with our team. Worship. Down time. It’s a great mixture of work, rest, practice, theory and team time.
Who is the workshop for?
Anyone who would like to come, but we strongly encourage you to come with at least one other person. If possible, bring a whole team from your church community so you can discuss the workshop along the way. If at all possible, it’d be great to have the senior leader there so the whole team is exposed to these ideas.
The cost of the event is $99 for the first person, and $59 for your spouse and/or additional team members. This covers the expense of the dinner on Friday night, all workshop materials, speaker fees and content of the workshop. Attendees must pick up the cost of their breakfast and lunch on Saturday, accommodations and transportation.

Discipleship: Intentionally investing in another’s life so they grow to look more like Jesus…multiplying your life into the life of another and empowering them to go further than you. Jesus doesn’t give us a pass on this – each one of us both being discipled and learning to disciple others.
As we look closely at the gospels, it’s clear Jesus invested in his 12 disciples and created missional leaders that changed the world! Jesus formed their character and taught them how to do the things He could do by giving them full access to his life, not just to his teachings. The WAYS Jesus made discpels bore incredible fruit and his very command to us is to go and do likewise! All too often we don’t expect to get that level of fruit as we invest in others! Even more, we take ourselves out of the game by thinking only “professional Christians” can disciple because we don’t have what it takes.
This Equipping Weekend is about giving you tools and training to be an effective disciple maker! If we’re going to reach a broken world with the Good News of Jesus, it will take ALL of us!
This weekend will answer quesitons like this:
- I feel intimidated at the thought of discipling! How can I start small?
- I’ve been discipling for awhile. How can I get a new level of breakthrough?
- What pieces of my life are worth others following?
- What does it practically look like to give access to my life?
- Who should I invest in?
- I’m busy – how can I fit this into my already full schedule?
- How do I make discipes who are actively reaching the lost?
WHO IS IT FOR? Every woman that is following Jesus. You may be a pastor, a leader in your church or workplace, a stay at home mom, a college student, an empty nester, or somewhere in between. You may be a new believer or a woman that has been walking with the Lord your whole life. Someone new to 3dm or one who has been connected to our missional movement for a long time! All of you will find benefit in this weekend!
You will hear teaching from pioneering women who practice what we preach about discipleship and mission. You will have opportunity to listen for what God is saying to you personally through small group huddles. You will be given practical tools to live into how God has created you and what he has called you to do.
It’s a weekend of growth, opportunity, connecting with God and receiving from Him in powerful ways that will equip you for your everyday life as a disciple of Jesus. Bring your friends, your teams, your people. You will leave inspired, empowered, and equipped.
STAND is different than a retreat and it’s not a conference. It is practical training starting with the Word of God and landing on how to live into it. What we hear from women who have attended past STAND events is, “This is not a ‘normal’ women’s weekend.” We’re happy you said that!
We will provide coffee and snacks throughout the event but please come having already eaten on Friday evening. We can’t wait to meet you, be with you, and release you to be the women God has already created you to be! Women made for discipleship and mission!
NEW THIS YEAR: Your ticket includes 3 weeks in an online coaching huddle following the weekend to ensure you have space to fully process what comes up during the weekend! We are THAT serious about equipping you, not just leading events!
