LEARNING COMMUNITY

OUR PRIMARY VEHICLE

A 3DM Learning Community is a two-year intensive training process for teams of leaders who want to to learn how to build a discipling culture that produces a missional movement to reach the lost and change the world.

Teams come together every six months for a three-day Training Immersion which includes worship, teaching, training, coaching, and strategic planning. In addition, we spend lots of time building relationships over meals. Each team develops a six-month strategic plan to implement in their own context what they have learned during the Immersion. In between these twice-yearly Immersions, the team leaders participate in a weekly online Coaching Huddle with a small group of peers where they receive ongoing training and experience our primary vehicle for discipling leaders. Once a year the team leader and their spouse (if married) are invited on a three-day Leader’s Retreat for personal renewal and investment. The three primary components of the Learning Community process are:

TRAINING IMMERSION

  • Moving Worship

  • In-Depth Teaching

  • Hands-On Exercise

  • Personal Processing

  • Strategic Planning

WEEKLY COACHING HUDDLES

  • Online Video Conference

  • Led By Certified Coach

  • Small Peer Group

  • Training and Tools

  • Strategic Input

ANNUAL LEADERS RETREAT

  • Worship + Teaching

  • Practical Coaching

  • Building Friendships

  • Strengthening Family

  • Rest + Recreation

HYBRID LEARNING COMMUNITY

OUR ALTERNATIVE VEHICLE

We have recently developed a new format for our two-year long training process that distills the on-site training Immersions into day and a half long events and augments these with online training exercises to make the process more accessible for teams that don’t have the resources to participate in the regular Learning Community.
